Car turns turtle after accident at Benoi Road

Two cars crashed into each other today (Jan 12) at Benoi Road near Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim, in a collision that left one of them upside down.

Stomper Karthik was on the way to work in the morning when he saw the wreckage.

The photo he sent to Stomp shows a red car lying on its back and a white car with a crushed bumper.

In another photo uploaded by Twitter user tmaungwin2000, the red car’s side window appears to have fallen out completely. The road is littered with debris and glass.

According to the Stomper, the accident caused a slight jam.

A spokesperson from the Singapore Police Force said:

“On 12 Jan 2017 at 9.59am, the police were alerted to an accident involving 2 cars at the junction of Benoi Road and Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim.

"A 57-year-old male passenger was conveyed conscious to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

"Police investigations are ongoing."
