Car overturns in accident with cab at traffic junction between Clementi Rd and Bukit Timah Rd

Stomper Trevor was at a traffic junction between Clementi Road and Bukit Timah Road today (Feb 25) at around 2.50am when he witnessed an accident involving a cab and a car which had overturned. 

There were also police officers at the scene of accident. 

Said Trevor:

“There were no ambulance at that time so I don’t know if anyone was hurt.

“The overturned car was quite close to the entrance to the Pan Island Expressway (PIE).

“Hope everyone is alright.”

The police has issued an official statement on the incident:

"On 25th Feb 2017 at 2.35pm, the police was alerted to an accident involving a taxi and a car at the junction of Jalan Anak Bukit and Jalan Jurong Kechi. 

"A male driver was conscious when conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. 

"Police investigations are ongoing."
