Stomper Racquel saw an off-duty doctor offering assistance to a biker following an accident involving two motorcycles and a car yesterday (May 6) along Robinson Road at around 8pm.

In a telephone interview, the Stomper said that she was passing by the accident scene and saw a man in black T-shirt and jeans helping one of motorcyclists involved.

Based on the man's conversations with rescue personnel, Racquel understands that the man is an off-duty doctor from Singapore General Hospital (SGH).

She saw the doctor supporting the accident victim by holding on to his neck and consoling him.

Both motorcyclists were sent to hospital in an ambulance thereafter.

The Stomper is unclear what led to the accident.

Said an SCDF spokesperson in response to a Stomp query:

"SCDF received a call about the accident at 8.10pm and conveyed two casualties to SGH."
