Appeal for witnesses: Biker loses leg after horrific accident at AMK Ave 1

Stomper Dorothy is appealing for witnesses of an accident that occurred at 11.45pm last Monday (Jan 16) next to Pathlight School, along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1.

According to the Stomper, who is 23 weeks pregnant, her boyfriend was riding towards the Central Expressway when the taxi in front of him suddenly jammed on the brakes at the junction.   

Said the Stomper:

"My boyfriend could not even brake in time and slipped under the taxi. The motorbike fell heavily on his left lower leg, causing serious injury.

"His leg was badly damaged and he had to have surgery to remove the lower part of his limb. He is now still at Tan Tock Seng Hospital."

Dorothy added that her boyfriend said that there were passersby who tended to him, by helping him out of his motorcycle and removing his helmet.
