3 injured in AMK Ave 3 pile-up involving at least 3 vehicles

Stomper Catherine and Freddie alerted Stomp to an accident along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 this morning (May 2) at around 7.40am involving at least three cars, which left three people injured.

In the photo Catherine sent to Stomp, at least three cars can be seen involved in a pile-up, blocking all four lanes of the road. Two of the cars can be seen with smashed bonnets and front bumpers.  

Parts of the damaged vehicles, including what appears to be a tyre, are littered around the accident scene. A man wearing black can also be seen lying by the roadside.  

A spokesperson from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp that two ambulances were dispatched to the scene and three casualties were conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
