Kids throw rocks at cat in Hougang carpark

A group of kids was caught on camera chasing and throwing stones at a cat.

Several Stompers alerted Stomp to the video originally posted by Facebook user Jeray Tan on Nov 23 at 5.51pm.

One of the Stompers said: "Dear parents, do teach your kids not to abuse animals or fool around in the carpark."

According to the caption of the post, the incident took place at Block 653 Hougang Avenue 8.

In the video, three kids are seen chasing a cat.

Two of them are wearing their school uniform, consisting of a yellow blouse and navy shorts.

The cat can be heard meowing loudly at the start of the video.

Three of the kids can be seen looking underneath a white car.

After they see the brown cat on the road they pursue it, their booming footsteps frightening the feline in the process.

They throw stones at the animal but miss and the cat hides underneath the car.
