In the video, one of the youths is seen flipping a yellow 'wet floor' signboard at the child.
The woman accompanying the child shouts at the group as another young man picks up the sign and walks away.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they came across two male teenagers, both aged 18, at Serangoon MRT Station holding onto a 'wet floor' signboard at about 9.35pm.
"Preliminary investigations revealed that they were among a group of four teenagers, where a male teenager among them had allegedly flipped the signboard at a child along Keong Saik Road at about 8.30pm the same day," a police spokesman said.
Police investigations are ongoing.
