Yio Chu Kang Sec schoolgirls help auntie struggling with elderly man on wheelchair and her bags

Two Yio Chu Kang Secondary School students were spotted helping an auntie who was not only struggling with a handful of bags but also with pushing her companion who was in a wheelchair.

Stomper Critter33 was on his way to a market near Block 631 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 at about 11am on Wednesday (Aug 8) when he saw the heartwarming scene.

He said: "I saw two very sweet Yio Chu Kang Secondary School students helping to push an elderly gentleman in his wheelchair as they saw the elderly lady struggling with her bags and the wheelchair.

"The girls were in front of me, and they walked faster when they saw the auntie struggling. 

"I thought that it was very nice of the girls to do this, but I didn't approach them because I was heading in another direction.

"We worry about how selfish the next generation seems to be but at times like this, I feel that they will be alright."

See? Millennials aren't all that bad.
