Woman taken to hospital after driving van into ditch along KJE

A 31-year-old woman was taken to hospital after the van she was driving ended up in a ditch along the Kranji Expressway (KJE) on Tuesday afternoon (Mar 3).

Stomper Lim alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a video he took while passing by the scene.

In the video, the van is seen being pulled out of the ditch by a tow truck.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident on the KJE towards the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) at about 12.42pm.

"The 31-year-old female driver was conscious when conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
