Woman taken to hospital after collapsing at Novena: 'Helpful passers-by stopped to help'

A person was taken to hospital after collapsing at Novena on Thursday afternoon (Jan 2).

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos he took at the area between Square 2 @ Novena and Velocity @ Novena Square shopping malls.

"Helpful passers-by stopped to attend to the lady who fell," he said.

"I think a doctor also attended to the person since there are many medical centres around Novena."

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to a call for medical assistance at 238 Thomson Road at about 3.50pm.

"A person was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital," the spokesman said.
