Woman steals groceries from outside Marsiling shophouse

A woman was caught on video stealing another person's groceries from outside a shophouse in Marsiling on Wednesday (May 10).

The owner of a shop at Block 303 Woodlands Street 31 said that she left her groceries she had bought at Sheng Siong supermarket outside.

She added that she put up a 'big sign' telling people that their is a CCTV camera installed outside her shop.

At about 9.22pm, a woman pulling a trolley was caught on video approaching a rack the shopping bags were placed on.

She is seen peeking into the bags before taking them and walking away.

"After closing shop, I wanted to take my shopping but missing liao," said the Stomper.

"I'm looking for this auntie to ask her to bring back those things.

"Inside were just noodles and biscuits.

"It's not that expensive but you shouldn't steal.

"Taking other people's things without permission is stealing.

"I'm not going to make a police report, I just want her to see this and not do it again."
