A woman is looking for several members of the public who rushed to her aid after she fainted at Northpoint City shopping mall last Monday (May 3).

Stomper XN hopes to reach out to the kind souls so that she can thank them personally.

She recounted: "I was at Northpoint City with my partner at around 8.15pm that day. We went there to settle our dinner before heading home.

"Suddenly, I felt dizzy for around 30 seconds. When I regained consciousness, I was already lying on the floor. It was around 8.30pm at that time and we were right outside Tori-Q.

"I woke up feeling very giddy and weak, with numbness in both feet, hands and my tummy.

"I heard many different voices and there were many very kind strangers, but I cannot recall how they look like, nor did I have the chance to thank them personally.

"Not long after, I was sent to the hospital by ambulance."

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed that it received a call for assistance at No. 1 Northpoint Drive at around 8.25pm and conveyed one person to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

XN said she opened her bag the following day and found a towel inside.

The Stomper added: "My partner mentioned that it was a lady who was with me the previous night when I fainted. She used her towel to cover my eyes as the shopping mall's lights were too glaring for me.

"My partner also told me that some strangers went to nearby shops to purchase drinks for me. One even got a lemonade to ensure I had some sugar in my body.

"Some used ointment to rub my feet, my hands, and my head dimples.

"I wish to thank the multiple different people who assisted me that night. Even during this crucial Covid-19 period, many strangers just flocked in to help me.

"I got to know everything from my partner who was with me, but he had been so lost and worried that he did not get the chance to jot down those people's name or contact details.

"I sincerely hope if you are reading this and know anyone who was there to help me out, please contact me. I wish to buy you a small token of appreciation and thank you personally.

"Thank you so much to the many different strangers who stopped by to help me. I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart!"
