Is this the most expensive Milo in Singapore?

Stomper Tan was shocked to be charged $4.50 for the cold beverage at Kings Indian Banana Leaf Restaurant, located at The Rail Mall in Bukit Timah, on New Year's Day (Jan 1).

She said it was her first time visiting the restaurant.

Tan told Stomp on Monday (Jan 16): "It's a normal-sized, regular iced Milo. Not even iced Milo Dinosaur.

"I did not ask why the drink was so expensive, but I bought before the same drink of the same size at Springleaf Prata Place, which is also at The Rail Mall, and it was only $2.40.

"For a price of $4.50, it's crazy."

Stomp has contacted Kings Indian Banana Leaf Restaurant for more info.

This is not the first time people have complained about Milo prices.

In May 2022, a Facebook user expressed shock at being paying $4 for hot Milo in a Styrofoam cup at Anjappar Restaurant at Changi Airport's Terminal 1.

Similarly in December 2018, another netizen shared his surprise at forking out $2.70 for a cup of 'Milo Elephant' at a Tampines coffee shop.
