Food courts are supposed to provide inexpensive meals but that is not always the case.
Stomper Grace was taken aback when she was charged $9.10 for a plate of mixed rice she bought at Food Republic at Parkway Parade on May 21.
Her dish had one fish, one fishcake and three fishballs.
She said: "They said the price is correct and that is how they have been charging other customers too.
"They said the fishcake is considered meat so they must charge $2 for it."
"Ridiculous, isn't it?"
