Woman arrested in Tampines for suspected drug offences and driving under influence

A 40-year-old woman was arrested for suspected drug-related offences in Tampines on Thursday afternoon (Dec 15).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they received a call for assistance at Block 203C Tampines Street 24 at about 12.25pm.

"The woman was subsequently arrested for suspected driving while under the influence of drug or intoxicating substance, and suspected drug-related offences," police added.

The case was also referred to the Central Narcotics Bureau.

Investigations are ongoing.
