Woman, 20, arrested for attempted suicide after drinking session with friend at Keat Hong Link

A 20-year-old was arrested after she attempted suicide at Block 818 Hong Keat Link in Choa Chu Kang at around midnight yesterday (Sep 14).

Stomp understands that she had been drinking with a female friend on the rooftop garden shortly before the incident.

Stomper SH, who witnessed the commotion, filmed a video that showed the woman sitting on a railing and shouting at the top of her voice.

SH also contributed a photo of police officers at the scene with the two women.

In response to media queries by Stomp, the police said they were alerted to a case of attempted suicide at 12.32am.

The woman was arrested in relation to the case and was subsequently conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
