Windowpanes shatter and fall from 14th floor after fire breaks out at Woodlands flat

Around 50 residents were evacuated after a fire broke out at Block 688F Woodlands Drive 75 on Monday afternoon (Feb 7).
Several Stompers alerted Stomp to a video circulating online showing the fire raging from a 14th-storey unit in the block.
In the video, the windowpanes shatter and fall to the ground.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said in a Facebook post they were alerted to the fire at 1.25pm.

"Upon SCDF's arrival the fire was raging in the bedroom of a unit on the 14th floor," SCDF said.
"Firefighters conducted forcible entry into the unit and extinguished the fire with one water jet."
There were no reported injuries and the fire is under investigation.
