What is this strange-looking insect? Stomper thinks it looks like a leaf

Stomper Martin spotted an unusual creature in Kampung Acheh, Perak Malaysia, and managed to snap a few photos of this flat 'leafy' insect. 

According to Britannica, a leaf insect, also called the 'walking leaf', belongs to the Phyllidae family of insects. 

These leaf insects are known for their striking leaf-like appearance and they feed on plants while inhabiting densely vegetated spaces.
