Stomper Terence was passing by Pang Sua Canal in Choa Chu Kang on Saturday morning (Nov 3) when he saw a trio of wild dogs attacking a monitor lizard.

The showdown took place in the canal near Ten Mile Junction LRT station at about 8am.

He shared a video of the attack with Stomp where the dogs are seen fighting over the lizard and pulling it in opposite directions in what resembles a tug-of-war.

"They abandoned the monitor lizard once they were satisfied it was dead as a doornail," said Terence.

The presence of the wild dogs also made the Stomper uneasy.

"My main concern is the Pang Sua Park Connector runs along the canal and is frequented by many families with young children who may unnecessarily attract the attention of these dogs."
