Why does my pork porridge from Tiong Bahru stall look nothing like the photo?

Seeing how appetising a bowl of porridge looked on a stall's signboard, a man decided to order it for dinner -- only to end up deeply disappointed even before he started eating.

Stomper Leonard said he visited the porridge stall at Tiong Bahru Market and Food Centre last Friday (May 14), at around 7pm.

He ordered a bowl of pork porridge for $3.50.

However, he was surprised to find that his food looked nothing as advertised.

Leonard said it was his first time visiting the stall.

He added: "I didn't ask them about it but I feel that it's damn jialat. None of the photos look anything like what you actually get."
