Stomper Ming stepped out of his home at Block 142 Pasir Ris Street 11 on Dec 10 and was greeted by a pile of trash.

He took a picture of the rubbish and sent it to Stomp.

In the picture, many plastic bags of trash lying messily on the ground form a trail leading to the rubbish chute.

The Stomper told Stomp: "This is not the first time I am seeing this disgusting mess.

"I keep wondering why it seems so difficult for residents to throw their garbage into the rubbish chute, when I am able to do so.

"I think that they might be lazy and wait for the cleaner of the block to throw it away for them, which is what has happened the previous times."

He also clarified that the rubbish chute is not choked and that residents are able to throw their trash away.

Sometimes, the Stomper says he even finds trash in the basket of a bicycle that is parked in the area.
