We've been doing it wrong: Here's a 'smarter' way to catch loads of fish

Ever tried your hand at fishing but ended up with no catch? Well, here is an unconventional method you can try and all you need is an umbrella.

In a video posted on Fishing Catch's Facebook page, a man is seen attaching an umbrella to a string and then floating it on the water surface of a canal.

Despite being bizarre, his method proved to be successful as at least five fish can be seen flip-flopping in the umbrella.

It is unclear when and where this incident happened.

In the video, people can be heard laughing as they record the man and his ingenious way of fishing.

Someone is also heard saying in Chinese, "You're laughing?", although there is no response because of the uncontrollable wheezing coming from the other person.

Would you give this method a try?
