A van collided with a car after crashing into roller barriers along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on Tuesday morning (June 23).
The police said they were alerted to an accident involving a car and a van along the PIE, towards the Tuas slip road into the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE), at 7.29am.
Stomper Freddie alerted Stomp to a video of the accident posted on the Roads.sg website.
According to the video caption, the van had skidded and 'lost control' at a road bend and crashed into roller barriers along the road.
The bright yellow-coloured roller barrier system is designed to absorb the impact when a vehicle hits against it and steer the vehicle back into its lane.
While an oncoming car managed to avoid the van after it was steered back to the road, another white car travelling on the rightmost lane was not so lucky and got hit by the van.
No injuries were reported in the incident and police investigations are ongoing.
