Walking With Dinosaurs stomps into Singapore with fights, frights and more

With 18 dinosaurs and a touring company of 55, Walking with Dinosaurs -- The Live Experience aims to whisk the audience to a land before time.

Based on an original BBC television series of the same name, the documentary was brought to life in 2007 and has since been watched by more than nine million people in over 250 cities around the world.

From the Triassic period to the Jurassic, the history of the world is played out with the splitting of the earth’s continents, all leading up to the impact of the massive comet which forced the extinction of the dinosaurs.

Nine different species from the 200-million-year reign of the dinosaurs are represented and the life-like dinosaurs become even more real when an 11-metre tall Brachiosaurus looms over the audience.

It takes about three people to operate one dinosaur. One of them focuses on head and tail motion, another is in charge of minor movements like the dinosaur's jaw, blinking, and roars, while the last one focuses on driving the dinosaur.

Just in case you're wondering where the driver is...

The audience will be transported back in time with amazing lighting effects and “living and fighting” dinosaurs, but there is no doubt that the dinosaur many would look forward to is the giant predator, Tyrannosaurus Rex.

The 7-metre tall carnivore is a thrilling yet magnificent sight to behold.

If you're an avid fan of world-renowned films like Jurassic Park and The Land Before Time, then this is a show you shouldn't miss.
