Wah, this van driver can steer wheel and talk on the phone -- at the same time

Stomper Osvdl was driving along Jalan Bukit Merah at about 4pm on Monday (Sep 24) when he saw a man driving while talking on the phone.

In a video taken by Osvdl's friend, who was in the passenger seat beside him, the van driver is seen having only one hand on the steering wheel, while holding a phone in the other.

Osvdl said: "He stopped in the second lane at a traffic junction for about five to eight seconds after the lights turned green, so I sounded my horn.

"I then overtook him to see what he was doing and I saw him on the phone.

"I feel that this is quite irresponsible since it concerns safety and I want to let the wrongdoers know that what they are doing is wrong."

When asked if he alerted any authorities, Osvdl laughed and said: "No, because I believe posting on Stomp is enough."
