With his trusty Nikon P900, Stomper Kannan managed to captured gorgeous photos of the morning sky in Singapore on June 20.

Due to the clear skies that day, planet Venus and the waning crescent moon were both visible to the naked eye.

Kannan said:

"In Singapore on 20 June 2017, between 6 and 7 am, the waning crescent Moon was seen pairing with the Planet Venus.

"The pre-dawn skies were super clear and the celestial pair were visible to the naked eye.

"Managed to capture this beautiful sight in the morning using the Nikon P900 and wanted to share photos with Stomp readers.

"The moon was simply looking awesome with Venus sparkling so bright nearby."
