Van catches fire along Corporation Road

A van caught fire at the junction of Boon Lay Way and Corporation Road on Thursday morning (Mar 30).

Stomper Philip alerted Stomp to the fire and shared photos and videos of Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) firefighters putting it out.

In response to a Stomp query, the SCDF said they were alerted to the fire at 11.40am.

"The fire involved the engine compartment of a van," an SCDF spokesman said.

"SCDF extinguished the fire using two water jets."

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
