Van and bus collide at Sims Avenue junction

A bus and a van were in an accident at the junction of Sims Avenue and Geylang East Avenue 2 on Sunday afternoon (Jan 24).

Stomper RJ shared photos of the collision, which occurred at around 1.10pm.

Stomp understands that no injuries were reported.

He recounted: "I heard a loud bang from a coffee shop along Geylang East Avenue 2, about 100 meters away from the accident site.

"All passengers in the bus alighted and it seems like no one was injured.

"I heard the bus captain telling his Operations Control Centre that the van had suddenly came out from the extreme right lane."
