'Pregnant' man in China finally has surgery to remove 15kg tumour from body

A man from Leshan city, Sichuan Province had been living life in misery for the past decade due to a tumour in his abdomen -- until now.

Doctors at a hospital in Chengdu successfully performed a six-hour operation on the man last Friday (Apr 22) to remove the 15kg tumour, which had caused distortion of his surrounding organs and subjected them to other injuries.

The man, known as Zhang, had not done anything about his tumour until recently due to financial difficulties.

According to CCTVNews,  Zhang’s sister said that she only managed to collect the 80,000 yuan operation fee after borrowing money from relatives, and she is still asking for donations for future treatment.
