Twenty gorgeous finalists from the three ITE Colleges battled it out on the catwalk at the ITE-Carrie's Next Top Model even on May 17.
A total of 130 students auditioned for the sixth edition of the contest that started in 2011 as a collaboration between ITE and Carrie Models International.
More than just a model search, the event is mostly run by students who handle the hair, makeup, logistics, AV and lighting.
It's an opportunity for them to gain real work experience and to hone their skills.
In the end, Aevrom Ng, a Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering student in ITE College Central came in tops in the Male category.
Joanna Lydia Koh, a Business & Services student from ITE College West won the Female category.
Both winners walked away with a one-year modelling contract with Carrie Models and prizes from ZA, Bread and Butter and Vanitee.
Joanna received an additional accolade by moving straight into the Top 25 of The New Paper New Face contest.
She is the first semi-finalist of the contest and looks forward to giving her best in the competition.
