An uncle in a motorised wheelchair narrowly avoided getting hit by vehicles at Bedok North junction at about 12pm on Jan 12.

Stomper Lee contributed a video of the incident and said: "What is this uncle doing?

"I was on my motorbike when I saw this. He was heading towards Block 547."

In the video, the man in the wheelchair proceeds across the junction diagonally while vehicles continue to go past him.

"As you can see in the video, he seemed to be trying to cross the road but was going about it in a dangerous way," said Lee.

"He looked to be between 50 and 60 years old. I didn't see where he went off to after.

"He was risking his life and the lives of other motorists."
