Truck tips over, causing hydraulic arm to damage car at Geylang carpark

A truck carrying tree branches tipped over at a carpark in Geylang at around 9am today (Jan 26), resulting in the hydraulic arm connected to the truck damaging a car nearby.

According to Stomper Low who witnessed the incident, it was said to have occurred at the carpark in Geylang Lorong 25A, which is located just opposite Aljuined MRT station.

In the video that he sent, the truck can be seen in a slanted position as the camera pans to show that the hydraulic arm of the truck was resting on top of a grey car.

The bottom of the car near the wheel was also noticeably dented.

Curious onlookers were gathering around the truck while workers in helmets could be seen inspecting what had happened.

It is unclear what caused the truck to tip over.
