Tree trunk breaks and blocks carpark exit at Clementi Avenue 4

Part of a tree fell onto a carpark barrier near Block 308 Clementi Avenue 4 on Tuesday (May 1) at about 1.15pm.

Stomper Simon wanted to exit the carpark but was instead held up for an hour as workers arrived to remove the tree.

"It held up a lot of motorists trying to exit and enter the carpark," Simon said.

"There was a long queue."

Simon shared photos of the tree with Stomp and it appears that a huge part of the tree had split from the trunk before falling on the barrier.

Stomp has contacted the authorities for more information.
