Tree falls onto Mercedes and van parked at Rochester Park

A tree fell on a Mercedes car and a van parked along 4 Rochester Park on Wednesday (Jan 23), at around 4.50pm.

Stomper Stevenlip, who came across the aftermath of the incident, estimated the tree to be four to five metres tall.

He said: "The weather was windy and cloudy. This is a dining venue and the two vehicles were parked in the parking area."

According to Stevenlip, no one was injured, though "the Mercedes had superficial damage and the van took some knocks on the roof".

He wondered: "Who will pay for the damages?"
