A 26-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after an accident with a trailer at the junction of Woodlands Road and Woodlands Avenue 3 on Tuesday afternoon (May 7).

Responding to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 3.48pm.

The motorcyclist was conscious when taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

"The trailer driver, a 51-year-old man, was subsequently arrested for causing grievous hurt by a negligent act," a police spokesman told Stomp.

A video taken by Stomper Mike's sister at around 5.50pm shows the motorcycle lying underneath the trailer.

Debris can also be seen strewn all over the road.

Police investigations are ongoing.
