A 48-year-old traffic warden was taken to hospital after she was knocked down by a car at Paragon Shopping Centre on May 14.

Stompers alerted Stomp to a video of the incident that was posted on SG Road Vigilante's YouTube page.

In the video, the woman is seen directing traffic coming in and out of the mall's carpark and pick-up and drop-off area.

A white car hits her while she is facing the opposite direction, knocking her to the ground.

The car driver and a cabby exit their vehicles to approach the woman.

In response to a Stomp query the police said they were alerted to the accident at 290 Orchard Road at 11.30am.

"The 48-year-old female pedestrian was conscious when conveyed to the hospital," a police spokesman said.

"The 64-year-old male driver is assisting with investigations."
