Town council working to restore area affected by fallen tree branch in Boon Lay

A tree branch fell and damaged public property in Boon Lay on Tuesday (May 2).

Stomper Mike shared photos of the large branch at Block 207 Boon Lay Place at around 11.25am and how it appeared to have damaged a lamp post.

In response to a Stomp query, West Coast Town Council said it is aware of the incident in which a "broken tree branch" was found.

A spokesman added: "The safety of our residents is our top priority and we have taken immediate action to remove the branch and are working to restore the affected area as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding."
