Town council and HDB inspecting cracks on Ang Mo Kio HDB block after Stomper's feedback

Stomper Goh was worried when she noticed some cracks on an external wall of Block 260B Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3.

She shared with Stomp a video and photos of the cracks. 

Living on the 15th storey, Goh said to Stomp: "I can see the cracks when I look out my window and have noticed that they're getting worse.

"This is a relatively new building and I'm very worried about my family's safety."

In response to a Stomp query, a Nee Soon Town Council spokesman said: "Town Council has conducted a check and identified the cracks at the external façade near level 15.

"As this is a new block, we have gotten in touch with the Housing and Development Board to conduct a joint inspection on this.

"This is to determine the appropriate course of rectification.

"In the meantime, we have cordoned off the affected area.

"We would like to assure residents that the agencies will work closely to expedite on the repair works."
