Toa Payoh resident shocked to find window of his car shattered

Stomper Tan was on his way to work yesterday (Aug 8) at around 8.50am when he discovered that the window to the left passenger seat of his car had been shattered.

The incident happened at a carpark near Block 213, Lorong 8 Toa Payoh. 

Tan immediately called the police.

Said Tan:

“Who would do this?

“I heard from a passer-by that this wasn’t the first time such a thing had happened at this carpark.”

The police have issued an official statement on the incident:

"On Aug 8, 2017 at 9.06am, the Police were alerted to a case of Theft from Vehicle at 213 Lorong 8 Toa Payoh.

"Police investigations are ongoing."
