These youths riding PMDs on the road in Punggol should make better use of their time

An e-bike rider and two e-scooter riders were caught on camera riding at high speeds on a road in Punggol. 

A Stomper alerted Stomp to a video and picture of the incident posted on Facebook page SG Road Vigilante.

According to the timestamp of the footage, the incident occurred on Nov 26 at 5.45pm.

The caption of the post said: "School Holidays. Expect to see more kids on the road... Parents, if you don’t educate your kids, be prepared to lose them on the road!"

In the video, three youths can be seen headed towards Punggol Central without safety gear on.

The video shows the riders overtaking the car with the camera recording the video.

According to the information on the bottom bar of the video, the car is travelling at 39kmh.

The picture posted, which is a screenshot of a video, shows the three youths standing on a pavement laughing.

Facebook user Heli Hob Poh commented and said: "One of these will happen. Either they realise the danger or the danger will stop them!"

According to the Land Transport Authority's website, personal mobility devices (PMDs) are not allowed to be used on roads.

If caught riding on roads, the PMD will be seized and the rider can face a fine of up to $5,000 or a jail term of six months.

Power-assisted bicycles are allowed on roads.
