Thai-British model-actress charged with drink driving just 2 years after killing police officer in car crash

Thai-British model and actress Anna Hamblaouris, more popularly known as Anna Reese, was arrested on Monday morning (May 22) for drink driving and hit and run.

The Huay Kwang police were alerted to the alleged hit and run accident at around 1am.

They found her 500 metres from a pub and escorted her to a police station.

The front bumper of her BMW Z4 was damaged on the right side.

According to The Star, Pol Lt-Colonel Alongkot Tubchom said the 30-year-old actress was apparently under the influence of alcohol and was crying and could not give testimony.

She also became aggressive and started shouting when reporters and cameramen arrived at the police station.

She previously made headlines in 2015 when she killed a police officer who had parked his car on a motorway in Prawes district to sleep.

She crashed into his vehicle with her Mercedes-Benz and he died at the scene.

The incident sparked outcry on social media after police failed to conduct an alcohol test on her did not take legal action against her.

She created a dramatic scene by crying and clinging to the dead officer's body.

She again sparked outrage when she said that the victim's ghost had forgiven her at his funeral.
