A man was pleasantly surprised to see monitor lizards enjoying a family outing along Kallang River on Friday morning (Mar 18).
Stomper Winston came across the creatures at around 8.20am and shared a video.
Several monitor lizards are seen lounging about on the grass patch along the river, including three that can be spotted eating a fish.
Winston said: "My eyes were caught by this interesting sight of so many monitor lizards gathering together.
"It's my first time seeing so many of them together. The usual is one or two is usual, but it's uncommon to see so many.
"I was a bit shocked and was wondering if their population along the river is increasing."
