Taxi sent flying after accident with car along Bukit Timah Road, cabby taken to hospital

A 51-year-old man was taken to hospital after an accident involving his taxi and a car occurred along Bukit Timah Road on Tuesday morning (Jan 23).

Stomper Win Win shared with Stomp a photo and a video of the accident that have been circulating online.

In the video, a white car can be seen colliding with the taxi.

The taxi is then sent flying from the impact, before landing on its side.

The photo shows a Prime taxi overturned on its side, as well as a stretcher nearby.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident, which took place in the direction of Upper Bukit Timah Road, at 8.04am.

The cabby was conscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
