Stomper helps man found bleeding from head and lying on roadside in Ang Mo Kio

Stomper Iron was on her evening jog near Block 617 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4 on Sunday evening (July 14) when she came across a man who was lying on the ground, near a bus stop, with a pool of blood around his head. 

She shared photos with Stomp of the man in a singlet with blood all over his face. 

Iron said: "There was blood all over the ground, it was scary."

She told Stomp that she helped by passing some water to the man while others called for the ambulance. 

She said: "He was feeling dizzy. I called his mother for him and she told me she was on her way.

"The man showed me a scar on his chest, near where his heart is. I guess he had a heart operation before."

Responding to Stomp queries, a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) spokesman said: "SCDF responded to a call for medical assistance at 617 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4 at about 7.15pm. 

"A person was conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital."
