Have you got World Cup fever yet?

That is one ailment that does not require any social distancing. Instead, it is bringing people together.

At least at the community clubs.

Stomper Wei Sien shared videos of football fans coming together to watch the free live screenings of the tournament at the CC.

"I'm so happy to see some of the residents enjoy watching Fifa 2022 at Toa Payoh East Community Club," he said.

Toa Payoh East is only one of 59 CCs bringing Qatar to the Singapore heartland. A full list of locations can be found on the People's Association website.

Free live screenings are also available at ActiveSG Sports Centres in Toa Payoh, Pasir Ris, Woodlands, Hougang and Jurong West.

If you are a Safra member, you can get your kicks at Safra clubhouses in Jurong, Mount Faber, Punggol, Tampines, Toa Payoh and Yishun.

If you live in the east, you can drop by to catch free live screenings at Changi Airport Terminal 3 and Singapore Expo (starting Dec 2).

And that is not counting all the F&B outlets around Singapore that are jumping on the World Cup bandwagon, such as McDonald's.

So if you have the fever, the cure could be right at your doorstep.

As for the Stomper, he also went to check out the live screenings at other CCs, including Bishan.
