The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is investigating a case involving a man who kicked a dog repeatedly.

A video of the incident, which a reader alerted Stomp to, has been circulating on social media.

The nine-second clip shows a man using both legs to repeatedly kick a dog that was wearing a pet cone around its neck.

The video does not shows the man's face and appears to taken by the man himself.

Stomp will not be uploading the video due to its graphic nature.

In response to a Stomp query, SPCA's executive director Dr Jaipal Singh Gill said: "The SPCA is aware of this case and we are currently investigating."
