Stomper Aida was surprised when she came across a snake at Punggol Park Connector at about 3.45am on Sep 9.

She was on the way home with her husband when she spotted the creature slithering on the ground.

In a message she sent to Stomp via the Stomp App, she said: "Be careful guys!"

"Was on my way back home with my husband when I saw this tiny snake."

In response to an earlier media query to Stomp where a snake was removed from a footpath at a HDB estate in Boon Lay, the Agri-Food and Veterinary Association of Singapore (AVA) said: "AVA advises the public not to approach, disturb, feed or try to catch any wildlife, including snakes.

"Keep a safe distance from the animals and avoid confronting or cornering them.

"Do not interact with the animals, and ensure that young children and pets are kept away from them.

"The public can refer to the advisory on snakes on our website, and contact AVA at 1800-476-1600 to provide feedback or request for assistance."
