Slithery snake spotted at Jurong Penjuru Dormitory 1

A snake found its way onto a road outside Jurong Penjuru Dormitory 1 yesterday (Sep 15) at around 2am .

A Stomper was dropping off passengers in the area when he was alerted to the snake by two individuals.

In a telephone interview, he said that the metre-long serpent was slithering toward his car.

He alighted, and covered the snake with a bin cover.

It tried to escape on several occasions, but was eventually contained.

The two other men then called the police.

Around an hour later, representatives from the Wildlife Rescue Centre (ACRES) arrived and removed the snake.
