A Singaporean woman who lost her passport in Batam has gotten in contact with the person who found it thanks to a Stomp report.

On Jul 1, Stomper Mardiono alerted Stomp to a Facebook posting regarding a lost Singapore passport.

Facebook user Julia Eva Hanna found the woman's passport at Lake Punggur in Batam.

After Stomp shared the story on Facebook, the woman's daughter was alerted to it by her friend on the same day.

The family is now in contact with Julia in Batam to retrieve the lost passport.
