Woman trips on uneven platform in cafe at Esplanade -- but customers help her up and offer ointment

Stomper Khaleeza's mother, Siti Zawiah, fell in a cafe and broke two bones in Esplanade at around 7.50pm on Fri (Oct 7).
Siti was having coffee with a friend when at approximately 9pm that day, she tripped and fell due to an uneven platform just as she was about to leave the cafe.
The customers offered to help and she took a cab and made her way to Singapore General Hospital with a swollen foot.
Siti would like to thank those who helped her when she fell, especially a kind woman and man who offered her some ointment.
The fall has caused two bones in her metatarsal to fracture.

The Stomper said, "The management should put a warning or caution sign on the platform to prevent further accident for other patrons in the future. "
